Vienna is such a well-organized city, with specific culture and history, easy to find anything you want, low prices (traffic jam, U-bahn) and beautiful German language 😍🇦🇹
Went to Vienna for chrismas 2 years ago, and was very disapointed😩 I don’t think I’ve met such unwelcoming people, even parisians are nicer... I don’t ever want to go back...
I think Aussies are paying some serious money to be on this list... I mean come on! Melbourne doesn't even have a train to the airport. I live 6kms from the city and it takes me 50 min to get into the city.... Terrible... The coffee is good though.
Best to live in the world is New Delhi. (Sarcasm)
Have always loved Vienna, my mother is Viennese and I remember the holidays to visit family there. Friendly, clean, so much to see and great food 👌
Low crime rate?! Of course! Where there are no CCTVs , thieves are on loose, the Police Dept could hardly care, and authorities won’t even heed your pleas.. there is bound to be no credibility of crimes!!
Greenery, flowers, cobbled streets, relaxed atmosphere, good traffic system, great public transport, lots of parking facilities, affordable rent and affordable housing, lots of museums, nice people, good food, clean air and more.
Fresh air, clear water to trink, wise old trees, beauty of art, rich history, concious also for the dark sides of history honouring its victims, diversity, initiating, supporting programms and society for protecting women facing violence, Diversity..... and many more reasons to feel well in our City.. facing the storm of political racism in the country and Europe-wide and hostility against refugees, narrow-minded politicians working for their own profit...I hope Vienna will be strong enough to keep its original peace and living beauty....
It’s a beautiful city but let’s not forget it’s the capital of Austria and the house prices are going to be higher of course. However on the outskirts of Vienna in the beautiful countryside you can pickup properties much cheaper. Crime rate is very low and people are absolutely amazing. Public Transport is very cheap from as little as €1 a day if you buy a year pass or approx €1.9 a day if you buy a monthly pass which allows you to travel on trains S-Bahn, underground (awesome network), trams all across the city and buses. Food is a little more expensive but overall it’s the best city to love in.
I left Los Angeles to live in Hilo, Hawaii. Hawaii has the strictest gun laws in the country and the lowest rate of gun crimes/murders; stable inflation; steady employment; and the best weather on the planet. Also - and most important - we practice the aloha spirit which is much more than just saying hello and goodbye.
It is very beautiful yes, but it’s not everything as „awesome and perfect“ as it is shown in the video.. and the price for a public transportation ticket ist not cheap at all
Calgary? You mean the City that allowed itself to expand beyond reason, and charges the second highest rates in North America to park a car?
I spent in Vienna 6 months but never liked this city. The subway is dirty and full of pick pocketing, people unfriendly, my bag was stolen while we were sitting in a restaurant..It is a nice place to visit, but I couldn't live there. I prefer Zürich or Munich. In general, all Swiss cities should have been ranked in the TOP 5..The decisive factors are as follows: 1. Safety, 2. Size (smaller cities preferable), 3. Parkland and greenery, 4. Access to medical care and schools, 5. Traffic system.
So?.... 🙅🏻♀️🙅🏽♀️🙅🏻♂️Nothings worse than this country’s citizen tells and act to tourists that you are Actually Unwelcome! Racist is an massive big issue there! So why should I contribute to your economy, when money could be well spent else where for hospitality/ humanity ???
Make Europe great again hihihi Apart from the jokes, Vienna is one of the most lovable city I've ever visited. People are super friendly and the city absolutely magic!!!
Have been wanting to move to Vienna for the last 3 years. Loved this city so much. If it was easy to get working visas I’d move in a heartbeat.
I did enjoy my visit there. Half of the populace is dressed like Mozart, all pressing concert tickets on passers-by. Splendid lebkuchen! And the Lipizzaners are gorgeous! Glad to get home to the Devon countryside, though, because the very best city (IMO) is no city at all.
Its not totally true, social and health insurance is deteriorating, if you want to go to specialist Doctor most of the time It's not covered by H-Insurance, income tax from 0- 52% social and Health insurance from €250 / month up to 28% of the gross income. 🙄
No people and no buildings - so basically the countryside - that's where it's good to live.
Ciudadella( original capital Historically )Menorca would be a Perfect time now to make a canal that goes round the whole of city as is now outside ,with a canal from the sea to the sea.....It has a flat city and land mass making it easy with sold rock .A brilliant tourist attraction ,transportation by water and exits to the sea from inland easily....It would make very easy moorings that give continual income in repaying the investment and construction .It allows more boats made here in Menorca with availability of moorings.... It would give many years of work to people living in Menorca ,In construction,in maintenance of boats, of fabrication of boats ,plus touristic in holidays ,bars and restaurants / services etc ....
And the saddest.........
they better write " Vienna USE TO BE " worlds most liveable city , since the open borders in europe, about everywhere it use to be liveable is there no more
The city would be more ideal to live when job opportunities are abundant, the crime rate is very low, demographic is just about right, the standard of living is very affordable and reasonable , the climate is moderately tolerable during winter and summer, a greener city with full of trees and plants.
Particularly WONDERFUL for musicians - actually, for anyone musically-inclined for that matter. Vienna is after all home to the world's finest orchestra: the Vienna Philharmonic / Wiener Philharmoniker - who also play for one of the world's most famous opera companies: the Vienna State Opera!! 🙂 🙂
People who say its expensive, where not expensive now? Everywhere! Maybe only in developing countries, but then will u get the same life quality, safety there?! Of course no.
Wiener Fiaker - Fa. Paul Eine Wundervolle Aufnahme! Vielen Dank für das Teilen! 🙂 <3
